Introduction
LINE 5.0 is a tool integrated into the trading platform (PUMA) that allows trading participants to set pre-trading limits and monitor investors operating in the markets managed by B3, regardless of the form of access (DMA, Desk or Advisor).
Who is it for?
LINE 5.0 is intended for Full Trading Participants (PNP), Trading Participants (PN) and Settlement Participants (PL) who need to define pre-trading limits for their investors. They will be the limit setting agents. Additionally, all investors who send or have their orders sent to the trading system are LINE users as they have their limits validated before sending the order to the trading hub.
Metrics
Metrics evaluated in Trading: TMOC/TMOV (Maximum Bid and Sell Offer Size), SPCI/SPVI (Potential Buy and Sell Balance per Instrument) and STD (Daily Forward Balance).
How to certify
The certification process consists of executing the Line 5 script by prior appointment with the Trading Certification team. After the technical evaluation of the Control Center, the participant will receive an email from B3 formalizing the certification and releasing access to production for Line 5.
