Supplier Approval
We believe a responsible market infrastructure should involve the entire value chain, with the active participation of suppliers and partners.
To this end we have established rules of conduct and processes to ensure everyone adopts best governance practices.
We aim to avoid and mitigate negative situations that could impact our operation, the market and society, while seeking to engage our suppliers regarding adherence with sustainability best practices.
We also perform a reputational analysis to identify critical points regarding Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), negative press, stakeholders engagement and former employees.
In accordance with the supplier’s industry, if it is considered critical for sustainability issues, during the approval process the supplier answers a specific survey about adherence to ESG best practices.
Code of Conduct and Reassessment
Once approved, suppliers need to follow the Code of Conduct for Suppliers, Service Providers and Partners of B3.
The document covers matters such as prevention of child, forced or slave labor; preventing prejudice, discrimination and harassment; respect for environmental legislation, and more.
During service provision, the status of the supplier is periodically reassessed. In this process we assess the registration status, financial health, reputation and negative press of the suppliers during the term of the service contract.
